Welcome to the official website of Southend Air Cadets. Located at London Southend Airport we are the largest squadron in Essex.
Each year we take part in many activities including Flying, Gliding, Target Shooting, Adventure Training, Team Building, Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, the Squadron Band and various sports like Football, Athletics, Cross Country and Swimming. We also get the opportunity to spend a week on an RAF base in the UK as well as attend adventure training and leadership camps. Cadets even study towards a BTEC in Aviation Studies and can also work towards a First Diploma in Public Services.
